The Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (RACS)

This educational activity has been approved in the The Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (RACS) CPD Program. Fellows who participate can claim one point per hour (maximum 19 points) in Category 4: Maintenance of Clinical Knowledge and Skills towards 2010 CPD totals.

The Australasian College for Emergency Medicine (ACEM)

The Australasian College for Emergency Medicine (ACEM) has approved the 8th Australasian Conference on Safety and Quality in Health Care as an Accredited Meeting at 0.5 points per hour.

The Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (RANZCOG)

Fellows of RANZCOG can claim CPD points in the ‘Other Meetings’ category of the RANZCOG CPD Program for attending this conference. Fellows would need an attendance Certificate stating the number of hours of educational activity involved.

Royal College of Nursing, Australia (RCNA)

This conference has been endorsed by Royal College of Nursing, Australia, according to approved criteria. Attendance attracts 19 RCNA Continuing Nurse Education (CNE) points as part of RCNA’s Life Long Learning Program (3LP)

The Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP)

GPs can make their own individual claim for CPD points by presenting evidence of attendance and a copy of the program.
